Dr. Arlyn Scherbenske
Dr Scherbenske graduated form Iowa State University in 1980. He has been with Steele Veterinary clinic since that time. Dr Scherbenske and his wife Lisa have four children Lindsey, Jonathan, Julia, and Cole. Arlyn enjoys yard work, riding horse, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He served for 16 years as the North Dakota delegate to the AVMA. He was also a past president of the NDVMA and in 2005 was awarded NDVMA “Veterinary of the Year” His goal has been to serve others.
Dr. Troy W. Dutton
Dr Dutton graduated from Oregon State University in 2000. He has been with Steele Veterinary Clinic since that time. Dr. Dutton and his wife Carol have two daughters Morgan and Allison. Dr. Dutton and his family have one dog, one cat, four goats, three horses and counting. Dr. Dutton is a member of American Association of Bovine Practioners, North Dakota Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Associaiton and the Academy of Rural Veterinarians. Dr. Dutton serves on the board for the ND Veterinary Medical Association and the Academy of Rural Veterinarians. Dr. Dutton also serves on the Trinity Lutheran Church Council and is the President of the Kidder County Fair Association. The Dutton’s enjoy spending time together fishing, boating, riding horse and visiting with friends and family.
Dr. Joseph Hochhalter
Dr. Hochhalter, a ND native, attended NDSU before graduating from the Universtiy of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. He has been employed at Steele Veterinary Clinic since that time. He is a member of AVMA, NDVMA, and ARV.
Dr. Hochhalter and his wife Melissa have one daughter Margaret and share their home with two dogs, Mildred and Bernice, and a cat, Neo. In his free time Dr. Hochhalter enjoys working in his yard, fishing, and tinkering around in his garage.
Dr. Christina Burgard
Dr. Burgard, a ND native attended NDSU before graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a member of AVMA and NDVMA. She shares her home with a chocolate lab named Kali. In her free time she enjoys hunting, teaching and competing in Taekwondo.
Dr. Nickolas Hart
Dr. Nickolas Hart is North Dakota born and raised. He grew up on a farm just south of Chaseley, ND where he spent much of his time working cattle and with his family’s German Shepards. He went to high school at Fessenden-Bowdon Public School, where he was highly active in FFA. He attended undergrad at North Dakota State University where he majored in Microbiology with a Chemistry minor. He attended veterinary school at Kansas State University. He is currently a member of the AVMA, NDVMA, and AAHA. In his free time he likes to travel the Midwest on his motorcycle.
Dr. Danielle Becker
Dr Becker was raised in western Nebraska. She attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she attained her Bachelor of Science. She was part of the inaugural class at Lincoln Memorial University – College of Veterinary Medicine in eastern Tennessee. She shares her home with two dogs, Coco and Jase, and a cat, Sarabi. In her free time, she enjoys playing slow-pitch softball, hiking, and spending time with her loved ones.
Juliann a SD native graduated from NDSU in 2014 and has been employed with Steele since June. She is also spending her Tuesdays at Jamestown Livestock. When she is not working she is riding horse and playing with her dog Bo.
Jarrid has been an employee of Steele Veterinary Clinic since 2002. He serves as our Office Manger, Computer Technician and once in awhile he helps with animals.
Laura grew up south of Steele. She lives with her two boys and spends her free time on their side by side or at Grandma’s farm.
